This research institute is reaching the present after having been established on December 1, 1969 for the purpose of contributing to the basic research, the pharmaceutical-technology development, and the industry-academic cooperation in order to develop and create new medicine, by surveying and researching into pharmaceutical resources. And, a continuous research is being performed in order to develop several pharmaceutical resources from diversely natural and synthesized compounds by utilizing all the facilities and excellent human resources.
